What You Need to Wear
If you would like to come along and have a go you must ensure you are wearing the following clothing: Long sleeved top, long trousers , closed in footwear, full-fingered gloves and a full-faced helmet are also required but these items may be borrowed on the day from the club free of charge to get you started. Shorts are only allowed with knee and shin pads. Thin tracksuit bottoms, leggings or skirts are not allowed.
Of course, a bike is also necessary but can be hired from the club at very reasonable rates upon your arrival. We have various different sizes to suit most ages but these are hired out on a first-come first-served basis. If you wish to bring your own bike, such as a mountain bike, dirt jump bike, park BMX or child’s bike they are all acceptable, as long as they are not fitted with stunt pegs or extra accessories which would cause injury in a crash.
