About Us

Cornwall BMX is a non-profit making club that meets regularly throughout the whole year to train, race, practice and generally have fun. We aim to cater for all ages and abilities and welcome families and individuals to ride. Riders range between the ages of 3+ to 50+ and we encourage the whole family to get involved.

Safety at Cornwall BMX

BMX is primarily a non-contact sport but accidents sometimes do and will occur. We will always endeavour to have marshals in attendance and we never let anybody ride without a qualified First Aider present.

If you would like to come along and have a go you must ensure you are wearing the following clothing:

• Long sleeved top

• Long trousers (no shorts/skirts allowed)

• Closed in footwear

• Full-fingered gloves and a full-faced helmet

Helmets and gloves are required but these items may be borrowed on the day from the club free of charge to get you started. Of course, a bike is also necessary but can be hired from the club at very reasonable rates upon your arrival. We have various different sizes to suit most ages but these are hired out on a first-come first-served basis.

Refreshments are served at very reasonable rates from our very own Trailer Trash Café  and hot snacks Are available On most race days.
